1 ~ Who are we referring to as "we" or "my"?
We includes Sarah Edwards - I run the business and carry out all the design work and client liaison. Where necessary I draw on a team of experts for advice.
I use the worlds largest web hosting company to provide hosting and domain registration and email services when required.
2 ~ What is "hosting"?
To allow your web site to be viewed over the internet it must be "hosted" on a computer which is always connected to the internet, has a reliable connection, special software and enough bandwidth to allow many people to view your site a one time.
Hosting space is normally rented from companies which are experts in the field and have a bank of secure computers (servers) on which to store (host) your web site.
3 ~ What is "domain registration"?
A domain name is the address which you would like people to enter into a browser (such as internet explorer) in order to view your site. e.g. www.020webdesign.eu is the domain name for this site.
To use a specific domain name, it must first be registered in your name, if it has not already been registered by someone else. It then must be rented on a yearly basis. A template driven site is a pre-designed site into which your content is added.

SEO is a way of coding a web site to enhance its chances of being ranked in the top results of a search engine, such as GOOGLE or YAHOO, once a relevant search is undertaken. A number of factors are important when optimizing a web site, including the content and structure of the Web sites copy and page layout, the HTML meta-tags and the submission process.

Simple content management allows you to modify your web sites text content yourself ~ without the need to ask your web designer for help.
